“Fostering a passion for spiritual growth and academic excellence since 1984.”

On the morning of June 7, 2025, Trinity Christian School gathered to celebrate a truly momentous occasion—our 36th Commencement Ceremony. This year’s event was not only a celebration of a graduating class, but a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness throughout the history of our school.

Among the graduates was Drew Lamphere, the first student in Trinity’s history to complete every grade from K5 through 12th as the child of a parent who also completed K5–12 at Trinity. His father, Matthew Lamphere, graduated from Trinity as part of the Class of 2000, making Drew’s journey a remarkable generational milestone that reflects the enduring impact of a Trinity education.

We also had the joy of celebrating Brent Stonis, the first student to graduate from Trinity whose parents are both TCS alumni. Matthew (Class of 2000) and Erin Stonis (Class of 1998), proud Trinity graduates themselves, now celebrate this full-circle moment as they watch their son continue the legacy of faith, learning, and service rooted deeply in their own experiences.

The ceremony also allowed us to reflect on how far we’ve come. Our very first commencement in 1988 featured a student who would go on to become one of our own: Mrs. Tanya Ohman, now a beloved 6th grade teacher at Trinity. Her journey from graduate to educator stands as a beautiful example of the lifelong impact of Christian education and service to others.

This year’s commencement was not just about achievements and diplomas—it was a celebration of legacy, faith, and the unwavering mission that guides Trinity Christian School. From that first class in 1984 to the Class of 2025 today, every student has been part of something far greater than academics alone: they have been equipped to walk boldly in truth, service, and love.

To the Class of 2025, we offer our heartfelt congratulations. May you go forward with courage and conviction, rooted in the truth of Christ, and inspired to live a life of purpose and service.
